Chris Fallica has a bear of a prediction if N0. 14 LSU can knock off host No. 8 Alabama on Saturday night. The FOX Sports analyst believes if that happens, LSU senior quarterback Jayden Daniels will capture the Heisman Trophy .

Fallica shared his opinion during the most recent edition of Big Noon Kickoff:

“If LSU goes to Tuscaloosa and wins today, Jayden Daniels is going to win the Heisman Trophy,” Fallica said.

This comes after Matt Leinart, another member of the show and former Heisman Trophy winner, explained on the Saturday Down South Podcast why Daniels is his frontrunner for the most prestigious individual prize in the sport.

The dynamic Daniels has passed for 2,573 yards, 25 touchdowns with only 3 interceptions while ranking No. 2 nationally in QBR (91.8). Daniels has also rushed for 521 yards and 5 touchdowns.

“I think Jayden Daniels might be my frontrunner,” Leinart said. “And I know they have 2 losses and they have a big one this weekend, and I think they have to win out. But the pace that he’s on, you go back to Joe Burrow’s year a few years ago — it was one of the best statistical years, one of the best offenses we’ve ever seen — Jayden Daniels is right there on par. He’s on pace with Burrow with his numbers. I think he might get it.”

LSU at Alabama is slated for 7:45 p.m. EST (CBS).
