Chris “the Bear” Fallica is an ESPN researcher who is known for pulling out incredible stats for many college football games, most notably high-profile matchups like Alabama against Miami.

As he considered various betting lines and over/unders ahead of the game in Atlanta on Saturday, he came across this notable stat for Alabama. During an appearance on “McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning” on WJOX in Birmingham, Alabama, Fallica said he waited for a prop bet around this number.

“I was joking all week, I was wondering if we’d see a prop anywhere out there, will Miami hold the lead at any point in the game?,” Fallica said. “Because Alabama, they’ve gone 37 straight quarters without trailing in a game.”

He noted that the third quarter against Georgia was the last time the Crimson Tide trailed in a game.
