Coaches Poll Week 9: SEC maintains 10 teams in latest top 25

The Coaches Poll for Week 9 that was revealed Sunday afternoon had the same number of SEC teams as the 2 week prior, with 10 teams from the conference dotting the new top 25.
Ohio State remained the No. 1 team in America after downing Wisconsin 34-0, and Indiana moved up a spot to No. 2 after the Hoosiers upended Michigan State 38-13 and previous No. 2 Miami lost Friday to Louisville 24-21.
Texas A&M moved up a spot to No. 3 in the latest coaches poll after the Aggies edged Arkansas 45-42. Alabama leapt 2 spots to No. 4 nationally after taking down Tennessee 37-20. Georgia also moved up 2 spots to No. 5 after edging then-No. 5 Ole Miss 43-35. The Rebels now rank 8th heading into Week 9.
Oklahoma also moved up 2 spots to No. 11 after the Sooners thumped South Carolina 26-7. Vanderbilt was the biggest upward mover among SEC teams in the Top 25 poll – vaulting to No. 12 after downing then-No. 10 LSU. Missouri is another 2-spot mover following a 23-17 double-OT win at Auburn.
Tennessee dropped 6 spots to No. 17 after losing to Alabama. Texas fell a spot to No. 18 despite a 16-13 win at Kentucky. LSU tumbled 9 spots to No. 19 following its loss to Vanderbilt.
