Another week, another set of rankings.
The Week 9 Coaches Poll was revealed on Sunday afternoon following another unpredictable weekend of college football. It wasn’t quite the bloodbath that last week was, but several top 10 teams fell — including a few to unranked teams — while others continue to look as strong as ever nearing the final month of the regular season.
Miami once again sits atop the rankings after blowing out Pitt early in the Saturday slate. The Hurricanes’ QB-WR duo of Darian Mensah and Malachi Toney is as good as it gets — Miami is going to be a tough out the rest of the way.
9 SEC teams are ranked in this week’s poll: Georgia (No. 3), Kentucky (No. 8), Alabama (No. 10), Texas (No. 11), Ole Miss (No. 12), LSU (No. 13), Tennessee (No. 17), Florida (No. 20) and Mizzou (No. 23). Auburn and Oklahoma also received votes in this week’s poll.
