The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers host a “Wait ‘Til You See This Game” each college football season. The school calls it, “Coastal’s premier game day experience… featuring unique in-game entertainment, enhanced visuals, and a nationally recognized atmosphere.”

This year’s contest comes vs. Appalachian State and gives folks a reason to turn back the clock.

On Tuesday, the Chanticleers unveiled their “90s Night” uniforms for Friday’s matchup with the Mountaineers. The predominantly white jerseys are “designed to capture the look and feel of an era that helped shape sports, television, fashion and pop culture,” per a team press release.

Coastal Carolina will rock teal helmets and teal pants with the 90s Night jerseys.

“The uniforms draw from the colorful, oversized and unmistakably ’90s aesthetic seen in iconic television shows such as Saved By The Bell, Boy Meets World, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Friends, and many more,” the university said. “From bold color combinations and oversized graphics to the fun, larger-than-life style that defined the decade, the goal was to bring that same energy to Coastal.”

The Chanticleers (2-4, 1-1 Sun Belt) picked up their first conference win of the season by beating Marshall 27-21 in Week 6. Appalachian State (3-2, 0-1 Sun Belt) fell 10-3 against Old Dominion in its first Sun Belt game of the season on Saturday. Friday night’s kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. E.T. (ESPN2).
