There were 11 SEC teams in action during Week 11 of the 2025 college football season. The conference hadn’t trotted out any fewer than 13 squads on a given weekend since Oct. 4, which means Cole Cubelic had a little more free time than usual after diving into the tape of last Saturday’s contests.
Cubelic released his takeaways from every SEC team’s Week 11 performance early Monday morning. He believes Alabama linebacker Justin Jefferson was “outstanding” in the Crimson Tide’s victory versus LSU. Cubelic also shouted out defensive back Bray Hubbard for playing “the best game I’ve seen” from him this year in that matchup.
Following the Alabama praise, Cubelic labeled Auburn’s latest setback a “brutal one to drop” and Florida’s blowout loss to Kentucky a “rough one.” On the flip side, he praised Vanderbilt for a “gutsy win” over the Tigers and Kentucky for reviving itself after being “left for dead a few weeks ago.”
Additionally, Cubelic gave props to Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo for “dialing up some cool stuff” against Mississippi State. He said Gunnar Stockton “works [the offense] really well” and thinks his “gamer/playmaker qualities are really starting to show up.”
