Week 6 of 2026 SEC football action is officially in the books, and that means that SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic has a new batch of takeaways for every squad from the best conference in the country.

The biggest game of the week was the heavyweight bout between Georgia and Alabama, and Cubelic had high praise for the Dawgs, saying they got a “huge win” and corrected things as they went along. For the Tide, Cubelic described the loss as a “tough one,” saying that the defense played hard but lost contain on the run game and got too aggressive at the line of scrimmage late.

For the Red River Rivalry, Cubelic said Oklahoma‘s win was “much needed,” and that they had one of the better game plans he’s seen so far this season. He described the loss for Texas as “brutal,” saying they had chances, but couldn’t capitalize, which ended up costing them.

He described the win for Kentucky over LSU as “masterful” on offense, while saying that the Tigers didn’t give their run game a real chance to succeed while leaning too much on the passing game.

Here’s Cubelic’s full breakdown of his takeaways from the SEC’s slate in Week 6:
