College Football 26 will be released this summer, it was announced by EA Sports in January.

But football-starved fans who are hungry for anything right now as spring football gears up got a sneak peek at the cover on Wednesday night after it was leaked online following the photoshoot at the Rose Bowl.

Sources told On3 on Wednesday that Michigan star quarterback-in-waiting Bryce Underwood, Florida quarterback DJ Lagway, LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, Notre Dame standout running back Jeremiyah Love, Alabama wide receiver phenom Ryan Williams, Ohio State record-breaking wideout Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State defensive back Caleb Downs, Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt and South Carolina defensive end Dylan Stewart were in attendance at the shoot in Pasadena, Calif.

And an early look at the cover consisted of standout players who are destined to be all over the place this fall like Lagway, Williams, Smith and Underwood, who hasn’t even played a down yet in college football but is already making headlines and apparently showing up on gaming covers.

The cover is also supposed to feature a few of the country’s notable head coaches as well as some mascots, so college football fans will have something to look forward to this summer.

On a Wednesday night in mid-March, with college basketball March Madness in full force, college football fans got a little taste of the fall.
