College football fans clown Oregon for sleepy start at Oklahoma State

A week after narrowly escaping an unranked Boise State squad at home, the Oregon Ducks once again found themselves in some trouble on the road against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
After the game was delayed by almost an hour due to inclement weather, the Ducks started slow in Stillwater against an energized Cowpokes squad looking for a the first big-time win for new head coach Eric Morris.
Oklahoma State stunned both the Ducks and the rest of the nation by jumping out to a 24-14 lead with just under 4 minutes left in the first half, and it realistically should have been so much worse for Oregon.
The Ducks looked absolutely inept for the majority of the first half on both offense and defense, with the only bright spot being 2 interceptions by Okie State quarterback Drew Mestemaker that kept Oregon in the game.
Things were so bad for Dan Lanning’s squad that they had been out gained by almost 300 yards at the 2 minute warning, a fact that sounds almost impossible for a team many considered to be the preseason National Championship favorites.
This second slow start in as many weeks led to college football fans around the country taking to X to clown the Ducks for such a poor showing against a team on a 12-game losing streak:
