College football insider Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reported on Sunday afternoon that 4 of Lane Kiffin‘s staffers at Ole Miss are expected to come with him to LSU as part of his new staff in Baton Rouge in 2026.

According to Zenitz’s report, that quartet includes wide receivers coach George McDonald, general manager Billy Glasscock, senior associate AD for football operations Thaddeus Rivers and head strength and conditioning coach Nick Savage.

Those 4 staffers from Kiffin’s Ole Miss regime will reportedly be heading with him as he begins to form his new staff at LSU for next year.

Just minutes after reporting those moves, Zenitz and fellow CBS Sports insider John Talty reported that Ole Miss offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. will also be moving from Oxford to Baton Rouge to join Kiffin’s new staff.

Earlier on Sunday, Football Scoop’s John Brice had reported that Weis wouldn’t be staying at Ole Miss and was set to join Kiffin at LSU. A few hours later, the CBS Sports report confirmed that Weis would be leaving Ole Miss, where he’s been with Kiffin since the 2022 season.

Weis was also Kiffin’s offensive coordinator at FAU in 2018 and 2019, so the duo will be reunited once again at a different college football locale in 2026.
