College GameDay was live in Salt Lake City on Saturday morning to preview a huge Big 12 showdown between a strong Utah squad and an upstart Cincinnati team.

The GameDay crew of Rece Davis, Stanford Steve, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit was joined by former Utah and NFL QB Alex Smith to pick the biggest games around the SEC in Week 10.

It’s a big week, and there are plenty of College Football Playoff implications around the SEC this weekend, including on Rocky Top, where the Tennessee Volunteers and Oklahoma Sooners play in what is essentially a CFP elimination game between a pair of 2-loss teams.

None of the analysts had superdog picks involving SEC teams.

Here’s a look at who the guys think will win the most-impactful Week 10 SEC games on Saturday:

No. 9 Vanderbilt at No. 20 Texas

  • Desmond: Vanderbilt
  • Saban: Texas
  • McAfee: Vanderbilt
  • Smith: Texas
  • Herbstreit: Vanderbilt

No. 5 Georgia vs. Florida (in Jacksonville)

  • Desmond: Georgia
  • Saban: Georgia
  • McAfee: Georgia
  • Smith: Georgia
  • Herbstreit: Georgia

No. 18 Oklahoma at No. 14 Tennessee

  • Desmond: Tennessee
  • Saban: Tennessee
  • Smith: Oklahoma
  • McAfee: Oklahoma
  • Herbstreit: No pick (he’s calling the game)

Will Smith and the guys be proven right this weekend? We’ll see what happens around the SEC during an impactful first Saturday of November!
