College GameDay was live from Iowa City on Saturday morning ahead of a major Big Ten clash between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The GameDay crew of Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit was joined by Indiana Fever star (and former Iowa Hawkeyes) Caitlin Clark to pick winners for the Week 5 slate of games.
Howard picked Mississippi State (+5.5) as his superdog over Alabama. Davis picked Auburn (+6.5) at Tennessee as his superdog.
Here’s a look at who Clark and the guys picked to win the major matchups in the SEC on Saturday:
No. 7 Alabama at No. 16 Mississippi State
- Desmond: Mississippi State
- Saban: Alabama
- McAfee: Alabama
- Clark: Mississippi State
- Herbstreit: Alabama
No. 8 Florida at No. 25 Mizzou
- Desmond: Florida
- Saban: Florida
- McAfee: Florida
- Clark: Florida
- Herbstreit: Florida
The Missouri Tigers now have plenty of motivation after everyone picked the Florida Gators. Will that translate into an upset win for Mizzou? Or will Jadan Baugh continue to dominate? That game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
Will Clark and the guys be proven right? We’ll see what happens across what is sure to be an exciting Saturday of SEC football!
