College GameDay was in Iowa City in Week 5 for the B1G matchup between Ohio State and Iowa, and ESPN has already decided where it will be going in Week 6. To the shock of nobody, College GameDay will be in Tuscaloosa in Week 6 as the Georgia Bulldogs travel to take on Alabama in as big of a game as there will be this season.

Both Georgia and Alabama could have been looking ahead to this game in Week 5, but both teams took care of business in a big way. Georgia hosted Vanderbilt and won, 38-14. Gunner Stockton continued his impressive season, finishing 25-of-32 for 295 yards and three touchdowns. The defense was equally as impressive, with Ellis Robinson IV getting an interception in the win.

One of the biggest games of the day was Alabama at Mississippi State, and the Crimson Tide showed up in a huge way. Keelon Russell threw three touchdowns, as the Crimson Tide rolled to a 56-23 victory.

The appearance of College GameDay will be extra special for Alabama fans, as it is the return of former coach Nick Saban. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be on ABC.
