College GameDay reveals guest picker for Ohio State at Texas

Week 2 of the 2026 college football season is officially on deck, and it will feature one of the biggest matchups of the entire season between No. 1 Ohio State and No. 4 Texas in the Lone Star State.
Everybody around the country has had this game circled on their calendar since it was announced, and that includes the cast of College GameDay, who will be on site in Austin for the marquee matchup.
As is tradition, GameDay will have a guest picker in attendance for the final part of the broadcast, and the show just announced on X that Hollywood star and Longhorns superfan Glen Powell will be that special guest.
This will be the second time that Powell, a Texas native and lifelong fan of the Horns, has been the guest picker on GameDay. He first appeared in 2022, when GameDay came to Austin for a showdown between Alabama and Texas.
Powell has always been a very vocal supporter of both the Longhorns and college football in general. He even plays the role of a college quarterback in the hit Hulu series Chad Powers, which just launched its second season last week.
For a matchup as important as this one, it only makes sense to have a Hollywood superstar and CFB diehard making an appearance on GameDay, and that’s exactly what fans are getting with Powell this Saturday.
