College GameDay reveals guest picker for Texas at Tennessee

Pat McAfee revealed Thursday afternoon that College GameDay’s guest picker for Week 4’s matchup between the Texas Longhorns and Tennessee Volunteers will be none other than Johnny Knoxville.
The daredevil stunt performer and comedic actor grew up in Knoxville (hence the name) and attended South-Doyle high school, located a few miles southeast of Tennessee’s campus. With rumors swirling that Rick Barnes, Kevin Hart or even Donald Trump would be appearing on College GameDay this week, the answer is “none of the above.”

This week’s GameDay is a big one. Knoxville is always a lively crowd, and this week’s show is expected to run from the lawn of Ayres Hall from 9-11 before transitioning into the stadium ahead of Saturday’s Noon kickoff.
The Vols and Longhorns are both undefeated on the season, with Texas boasting a win over Ohio State in Week 2 and Tennessee taking care of business against Georgia Tech in the same week. While Tennessee holds just a 2-16 record against AP No. 1 teams, Texas QB Arch Manning has notably struggled on the road, having lost to Ohio State, Florida and Georgia last season alone.
As alluded to above, Texas at Tennessee is set to kick off at Noon, televised on ABC.
