ESPN College GameDay will be at Bobcat Stadium on the campus of Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana for the long-running rivalry between Montana and Montana State on Saturday.

And it’s going to be cold.

Former Heisman Trophy winner and current College GameDay analyst Desmond Howard is not thrilled about this development.

The good news is Saturday will start a warming trend in Bozeman. As of 12:30 p.m. MT it’s 7 degrees in Bozeman with an expected low of 1. But on Saturday, the high will get to 27 and the sun will be shining with a light wind.

As for the game, the battle for the Great Divide Trophy will have huge implications on the FCS Playoffs. No. 3 Montana State (9-1, 7-0) will finish second in the Big Sky conference behind No. 2 Sacramento State, but is all but guaranteed an at-large spot. No. 12 Montana (7-3, 4-3) is in danger of getting bumped with a fourth loss.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET Saturday on ESPN+.
