Tennessee tight end commit Carson Sneed is planning to visit Florida later this year, according to a report.
That’s according to a report from Gators Online’s Blake Alderman. Sneed has been committed to Tennessee since August of 2024, but it seems his recruitment is not 100% settled as he approaches his senior season at Donelson Christian Academy in Nashville.
Sneed has earned offers from programs such as North Carolina, Colorado, Florida State and others over the past year. He’s also been recruited by programs like Ole Miss and Miami in recent months, so Florida will have more competition if the Gators are going to flip him before signing day.
Sneed is a huge target for multiple SEC programs in the class of 2026. He’s the No. 246 overall player and the No. 13 tight end in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 8 player from the state of Tennessee.
Sneed is listed at 6-foot-6, 248 pounds. The Tennessee native originally received an offer from the Vols way back in 2023. Florida offered well over a year ago, back in April of 2024.
There is no known timetable for Sneed to make a final decision in his recruitment.
