Cutter Boley is expected to be back with Kentucky in 2026, according to head coach Mark Stoops.

Stoops announced that news on his weekly radio show on Monday evening.

“We have a good nucleus of guys — and it’s certainly important to get that QB, you know? It’s great to have a young QB,” Stoops said, via Kentucky Sports Radio. “Cutter’s been nothing but all-in and loving Kentucky. He wants to be here and we just got to make sure we build a good team around him.”

Boley replaced Zach Calzada early in the season, and he has given fans a reason to be extremely excited for the future. On the season, he has thrown for 2,060 yards and 15 touchdowns.

He has been especially-good lately, as Boley has completed 71.7% of his passes over the last six games. He is chasing many of the Kentucky freshman records that are currently held by Jared Lorenzen.

The Wildcats will look to end the 2025 season on a positive note when they take on Louisville in the regular season finale. With a win, the Wildcats would be bowl eligible.
