Dabo Swinney is making some changes to the format for his weekly radio show down in Clemson, South Carolina.
In the past, Swinney has allowed (and even encouraged) fans to call in to the show and ask questions about the Tigers, their upcoming schedule and so forth. But no longer. Swinney is now cutting the live calls from the show, and will only be able to submit questions via text/email.
The first show of the season is slated for tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
It’s official: Clemson FB coach Dabo Swinney will no longer take live calls from fans on his weekly radio show
The new format is called “Tiger Sports Hour with Dabo Swinney.” Fans will able to submit questions to him via text/email. First show tonight at 8 on @1055TheROAR

Those who are just devastated by this news can at least partially blame one Tyler from Spartanburg, who enraged Swinney last season after his critiques following a 4-4 start to the season, including losses to Duke, Florida State, NC State and Miami.
Swinney practically gave a soliloquy on his disdain for Tyler’s statements and attitude towards himself, declaring “you ain’t going to talk to me like I’m 12 years old” among other things. Here’s a link to the full audio if you want a refresher:
Tyler from Spartanburg wanted to know why Dabo Swinney is being paid $11M.
Dabo went off!
โI worked my ass offโฆ
You’re part of the problem. If you wanna apply for the job, go for itโฆ
You ainโt gonna talk to me like Iโm 12 years old.”

Clemson is back in contention for the ACC this season alongside Miami and, well, maybe Florida State? The Seminoles were expected to be major players for the ACC this season before falling to Georgia Tech in Week 0.
