Dak Prescott, Hayden Hurst share classy postgame moment in show of respect

In early September, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott spoke up about his battle with depression after his older brother, Jace, committed suicide earlier this year. And the former Mississippi State leader’s words appear to have resonated with another former SEC player.
After the Cowboys’ home win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, former South Carolina tight end Hayden Hurst, now with the Falcons, caught up with Prescott after the game to praise his recent words. Hurst was mic’d up for the game, so their conversation was caught in a video shared on Atlanta’s YouTube channel.
“I have a lot of respect for what you did, what you came out and talked about,” Hurst said while embracing Prescott. “Me and my mom have a foundation about suicide prevention, I respect the hell out of you for talking about it, man.”
Prescott followed up by telling Hurst that they should collaborate in the future. Hurst helps operate the Hayden Hurst Family Foundation, which raises awareness for children mental health issues.
