Dan Mullen offered the latest update Wednesday morning about QB Anthony Richardon’s knee injury after he missed the South Carolina game because he injured his knee dancing in a hotel.
“Yeah, he practiced yesterday in somewhat of a limited capacity,” Mullen said on the SEC coaches media teleconference. “We feel good he’ll be cleared to play on Saturday.”
Richardson previously underwent an MRI, which revealed no significant damage, and has trended toward playing on Saturday for several days.
For his part, Richardson has taken a humorous view of the incident, and shared a video of an example of the dance on social media.

Richardson suffered a head or neck injury in the 34-7 loss to Georgia in Jacksonville after a big hit, and that meant Emory Jones would start against South Carolina. Jones completed 17 of 30 passes for 258 yards, with 2 touchdowns and an interception.
