Dan Orlovsky offers advice to Trinidad Chambliss ahead of Lane Kiffin meeting
We’re just one sleep away from finally seeing Lane Kiffin take his LSU Tigers to The Grove to battle the Ole Miss Rebels. National anticipation is dripping like sweat off a farmer’s back in July for this matchup.
For Dan Orlovsky, a chance at revenge should be all that’s on Trinidad Chambliss’ mind. During Friday’s episode of Get Up, Orlovsky put himself in Chambliss’ shoes ahead of the game.
He believes Chambliss should embody a scorned lover of sorts when he takes the field against Kiffin’s team.
“If I’m [Trinidad] Chambliss, I’m playing against the coach that left me? I was the best quarterback in college football last year. I’m the best quarterback in college football this year, and you chose to [leave] me?” Orlovsky said. “I’m gonna do everything I can this Saturday, when you come to Ole Miss, to make you regret that decision. Not only Saturday, but for the rest of your life… I would try to absolutely rip his heart out.”

Fellow analyst Harry Douglas called Chambliss “the equalizer” against LSU’s incredible defense. That may be true, but Chambliss will likely have to tip the scales for Ole Miss to prevail on Saturday night.
The Tigers and Rebels kick off at 7:30 p.m. E.T. (ABC).
