Alabama has risen to such a level in college football, that there’s a hearty debate over if the Crimson Tide will go undefeated this season.

That’s where ESPN analysts David Pollack and Joey Galloway found themselves during a recent airing of “College Football Live” as they previewed the season from a schedule standpoint.

Pollack reminded everyone that “you have to be perfect,” for Alabama to beat the over/under win total projection of 11.5 wins. So he declined to take the undefeated season.

โ€œI canโ€™t tell you where theyโ€™re gonna trip up but at Florida, at A&M โ€” Ole Miss, by the way, scored with them in bunches a year ago. LSU. I look at Alabama, I know they recruit at a high level and youโ€™re gonna tell me they have the GOAT and all that stuff. I think theyโ€™re gonna lose a game. So I would take the under,” Pollack said.

Galloway then countered, and admitted that the Texas A&M game is the most dangerous for Alabama.

โ€œIโ€™m gonna go with theyโ€™re not gonna lose one,โ€ Galloway said. โ€œI think if they had a chance to slip up, it would be at Texas A&M on Oct. 9. I think the same is true for Ole Miss and Mississippi State with Ole Miss, always โ€ฆ putting up a lot of yards and throw the ball around. Could be Texas A&M, but I donโ€™t see another game on there theyโ€™re going to lose.โ€

Alabama will open up the 2021 season against Miami at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 4.
