David Pollack has made his predictions for the games in Week 8, and one of the biggest games of the week is the Ole Miss and Texas game taking place in Austin.

The Longhorns have lost two straight games since moving up to No. 1, and Pollack believes that streak will move to three games as he has the Rebels getting the big road win.

“I don’t give Texas a strong chance in this game, I really don’t,” Pollack said on his See Ball Get Ball podcast. “I don’t know how they can possibly score. Does Nibllett do something crazy in special teams and keep you in it? Can Texas prevent the big play and be good in the red zone? Possibly. This offense is humming right now, not a good time for Texas.”

The Rebels have gotten back to playing outstanding football after the loss to Florida, and are coming off a dominant 31-3 victory over Missouri. Kewan Lacy is back healthy and went over 100 yards against Missouri. The defense, which really struggled early in the year, was phenomenal against a very good Missouri offense.

Tigers running back Jamal Roberts had rushed for over 200 yards in consecutive games, but he finished with only 39 yards on 20 carries against the Rebels.

It has been stressful week in Austin, and if Pollack is right with his prediction, things are about to get much worse as well.
