David Pollack explains why he’d have Kentucky ranked ahead of Oklahoma

When the first College Football Playoff rankings came out on Tuesday night, the 7-1 Kentucky Wildcats were in the No. 9 spot.
However, ESPN analyst David Pollack thinks the Wildcats could have been a couple of spots higher.
According to Pollack, he’d have the Wildcats ahead of No. 7 Oklahoma based on their resume through eight games:
“I think you could put Kentucky ahead of Oklahoma so far, for what they’ve done,” he said. “You beat Florida, obviously you lose in overtime at Texas A&M, beat Mississippi State. I think that’s more impressive than what Oklahoma has done.”
Kentucky obviously has a huge game against Georgia this weekend, so a win there would likely vault them up in the standings.
For now, though, they’re in a good spot if they just keep winning.
