Former Texas A&M receiver KC Concepcion is already receiving high praise ahead of his rookie NFL season.
College football analyst David Pollack handed out some draft superlatives following Day 1 on Thursday night. Concepcion was selected with the 24th pick in the draft by the Cleveland Browns.
Pollack believes Concepcion is in position to headline Cleveland’s wide receiver corps as a rookie, saying the former Aggies is “name you will hear the most as a rookie.”
“The Browns are desperate for playmakers,” Pollack added.
Concepcion has been one of college football’s top wide receivers over the past 3 seasons. His first 2 campaigns at the collegiate level came at NC State where he immediately established himself as one of the Wolfpack’s best overall players.

After transferring to Texas A&M in 2025, Concepcion totaled 61 catches for a career-best 919 yards and 9 touchdowns.
In addition to his work on the offensive side of the ball, Concepcion was consistently a contributor on special teams as well. He returned 25 punts for the Aggies in 2025 and scored a pair of touchdowns โ including a game-changing score in Texas A&M’s win over LSU.
Concepcion joins a Browns offense that has questions at quarterback and receiver, but has up-and-coming playmakers at running back (Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson) and tight end (Harold Fanin Jr.).
Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft begins on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
