David Pollack reveals where he’d rank UCF after Thursday’s narrow win over Temple

The UCF Knights picked up a big 52-40 win over Temple on Thursday night to improve to 8-0 on the season, but it once again required a second-half comeback.
The Knights trailed 34-28 at the intermission before a strong second-half performance sealed the win — just like a game earlier this year against Memphis.
So, after UCF debuted at No. 12 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings, what does this week’s win mean for the Knights? Keeping in mind that the other top teams haven’t played yet, ESPN’s David Pollack said he’d keep the Knights right in the No. 12 spot:

Indeed, UCF hasn’t really been tested by another top-25 team this year yet, so it’s tough to get a good read on them.
However, based on the carnage we saw last weekend, it wouldn’t be a big surprise to see a couple of teams ahead of the Knights in the current rankings go down (in fact, it has to happen, as No. 1 Alabama plays No. 3 LSU and No. 6 Georgia takes on No. 9 Kentucky).
