We’ve concluded Week 6 of the college football season, and much has happened through the first 6 weeks. Teams have gone from No. 1 to unranked, and teams have risen from the depths of the unranked into the top 25.
As we inch closer to the halfway point of the season, it’s time for analysts and fans to start sharing their College Football Playoff picks. David Pollack is the latest to share his updated top 12 picks for the CFP.
Pollack’s top 12 is as listed:
No. 12 Memphis Tigers, No. 11 LSU Tigers, No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs, No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide, No. 8 Texas Tech Red Raiders, No. 7 Indiana Hoosiers, No. 6 Texas A&M Aggies, No. 5 Oklahoma Sooners, No. 4 Ole Miss Rebels, No. 3 Oregon Ducks, No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes, and No. 1 Miami Hurricanes.
Pollack’s updated top 12 doesn’t differ much from the new AP Poll. In fact, all of his top 11 teams are the top 11 teams in the AP Poll. The Memphis Tigers are ranked No. 23 in the new AP Poll, but are the highest-ranked Group of 5 team.
The only differences from the AP Poll in Pollack’s top 11 are that he has Alabama and Texas Tech switched, Oklahoma and Texas A&M switched, and Ohio State and Miami switched.
