Dayton Wade just made one of the best catches you’ll see this season against Vanderbilt.

In the 2nd quarter, the Rebs were up 13-0 over the Commodores and driving again. Jaxson Dart launched a bomb down the field to Wade, who jumped over the defender and made an acrobatic catch with a defender all over him.

The coverage was solid, but the ball was placed perfectly and Wade hauled in the pass.

The big play set the Rebs up with a 1st and goal from the 8-yard line. A couple of rush plays led to a 1-yard Dart TD to put the Rebs up 20-0. Later in the 2nd, the Rebs scored another TD but missed the extra point, and took a 26-0 lead into the half.

Wade leads all receivers in the game with 6 catches for 100 yards and 1 TD. Coming into the game, Wade was 3rd on the team with 402 receiving yards and 2nd with 28 receptions.

If the Rebs can put the Commodores away, the team will improve to 7-1 on the season. After this matchup, the team will still play Texas A&M, Georgia, UL Monroe, and Mississippi State.
