Colorado coach Deion Sanders addressed reporters at Big 12 Media Days on Wednesday afternoon.

While Sanders fielded questions about both his team and Big 12 opposition, he was reluctant to give any insight into the health battles he’s been facing off the field. Earlier this summer, it was reported Sanders was away from the program at his ranch in Texas while dealing with an unspecified health issue.

On Wednesday, Sanders declined to provide an update.

“I’m not here to talk about my health, I’m here to talk about my team,” Sanders said.

Asked for details about his “average day” while dealing with his ailment, Sanders once again brushed the question off.

“Average day, I’m living good,” Sanders said. “I’m living lovely. God has truly blessed me. Not a care in the world.”

Sanders gave a brief update on his condition back in June.

“I can assure you all that everything is OKAY and will continue to be so,” Sanders wrote in part.

Sanders has dealt with health scares before, including in 2021 when he had multiple toes amputated due to a blood clotting issue.

Colorado is set to begin the 2025 season against Georgia Tech on Aug. 29.
