LSU star cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has already picked up multiple name, image and likeness partnerships, including Raising Canes and Walk-On’s, a Baton Rouge-based Bistreaux & Bar.

Now he has added a car dealership, and announced the partnership on Instagram: “Excited to announce my partnership with Jimmy Granger’s Ford. It’s great to partner with good people, doing good business.”

He did it, though, while posing for a picture on the hood of a Ford ShelbyGT 500. Ford says the car has 760 horsepower and starts at $72,900.

It’s been a busy summer for Stingley, including the honor this month of having his high school jersey retired.

Stingley will officially have his No. 24 jersey retired by Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Stingley will be the third-ever former Dunham Tiger to have his jersey number retired when the Tigers play their jamboree game on Aug. 27.
