It’s a great time to be a DFS player. College football is entering the Playoff semifinals and New Year’s 6 matchups, while the NFL is heading into its penultimate regular-season weekend.
The stakes are high, but the potential to win big money is even higher! Our DFS experts, Andrew Olson and Adam Spencer, provide their top DFS plays every week for both the college football and NFL slates.
This week, the guys are giving out their top 2 CFB plays and their 3-best NFL plays over on Underdog Fantasy, which is one of the best DFS apps in the game.

Our College Football Bowl Picks
Andrew Olson
Tre Harris, Ole Miss: Higher than 43.5 receiving yards
Penn State has a great defense, but Lane Kiffin has had multiple weeks to scheme to get the ball into the hands of his Ole Miss playmakers. Harris is one of those playmakers who can turn any touch into an explosive play. I like him to shine on the Peach Bowl stage.
Alex McPherson, Auburn: Higher than 7.0 kicking points
Predicting kicking is admittedly a crapshoot, but I find this line appealing. Auburn’s red-zone offense ranks No. 49 nationally in scoring percentage while Maryland’s red-zone defense ranks No. 67. This feels like a game AU may settle for a couple of field goals while knocking the rust off.

Carson Beck, Georgia: Higher than 1.5 pass TDs
Florida State’s roster will be massively depleted for the Orange Bowl against Georgia. Look for Beck to take advantage, even without Brock Bowers. Personally, I expect Beck to find the end zone through the air twice before halftime.
Will Reichard, Alabama: Higher 2.5 extra points made
I’m on the record picking Alabama to win the national title. I simply haven’t been impressed with Michigan this year. I know the Wolverines went undefeated, but the competition wasn’t on par with what Alabama faced. The Tide should score at least 3 touchdowns, and Reichard should knock all 3 extra points through the uprights.
Our NFL Week 17 Picks
Andrew Olson
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: Higher than 231.5 passing yards
LJ is taking over the MVP race. Baltimore vs. Miami will have a big-game feel as a potential preview of an AFC playoff contest. I see Jackson, a South Florida native, connecting for multiple explosive plays through the air when Miami visits Baltimore.
DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles: Higher than 53.5 receiving yards
Smitty has been consistently productive in the second half of the season, especially since the Eagles had their Week 10 bye. Arizona has a solid passing defense, but I don’t see the Eagles getting one-dimensional as they chase the NFC East crown.
Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams: Higher than 257.5 passing yards
The Rams’ offense is humming right now with Stafford on a fantasy hot streak. The Giants, meanwhile, are still the Giants. There’s a bit of a concern here about a lopsided lead influencing the play calls, but with so many receivers making plays right now, this line still feels attractive.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys: Lower than 0.5 interceptions
Prescott has only thrown 1 interception in his last 3 games. I expect that streak to continue this weekend against a Detroit defense that has been struggling lately. The Cowboys should bounce back from a tough loss to Miami in a big way offensively.
Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers: Higher 86.5 rushing yards
The 49ers are facing the Washington Commanders this weekend. The Commanders defense is, well … atrocious. McCaffrey will be eager to put on a show to potentially work his way into the MVP conversation and possibly lock up the Offensive Player of the Year award.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins: Higher 236.5 passing yards
The Dolphins visit Baltimore in a matchup that could determine the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs. Yes, it’s a road game for Tua and the Dolphins, but even away from the friendly weather in Miami, I like Tagovailoa to put up around 250 yards through the air.
