Texas A&M just capped its best season to date of the Jimbo Fisher era, as the Aggies finish the season win an 8-1 record after winning on the road at Tennessee 34-13.

Following that result, the Aggies ended the regular season on a seven-game winning streak.

The Aggies were scheduled to play 10 SEC games but the team’s matchup against Ole Miss was declared a no-test due to COVID preventing both teams from managing to field a team to meet during the regular season.

With Texas A&M’s season now complete, all eyes in College Station turn to the College Football Playoff as the Aggies entered the week rated No. 5 in the poll while 5-0 Ohio State rated No. 4 but struggled with Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game.

According to ESPN’s Playoff Predictor, if Ohio State lost to Northwestern, Texas A&M’s odds to advance to the College Football Playoff would have been 61 percent.

If you were on the committee, which way would you go, Texas A&M or Ohio State?
