Diego Pavia headlines SEC Players of the Week for Week 11

Last weekend featured an exciting slate of games in the SEC. The conference has announced its Player of the Weeks for Week 11.

Offensive Player of the Week is Vanderbilt’s Diego Pavia. Defensive Players of the Week are Kentucky’s Daveren Rayner and Texas A&M’s Daymion Sanford. The Special Teams Player of the Week is Georgia’s Peyton Woodring. The Offensive Line Players of the Week are Vanderbilt’s Jordan White and Alabama’s Parker Brailsford. The Defensive Line Player of the Week is Texas A&M’s Cashius Howell. The Freshman of the Week is Kentucky’s Cutter Boley.

Pavia finished with a career-best 489 total yards of offense in Vanderbilt’s victory vs. Auburn. His 377 passing yards were the most in his college career and he also threw 3 touchdowns.

Rayner had an interception, 5 tackles and a sack in Kentucky’s win against Florida. Sanford had 5 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, a sack, and a forced fumble in Texas A&M’s victory vs Missouri.

Woodring made a 49-yard field goal and a 46-yard field goal in Georgia’s win vs. Mississippi State.

White had the top PFF grade for an offensive lineman over the weekend. Brailsford had six knockdown blocks and helped the Crimson Tide only give up 1 sack in the win against LSU.

Howell had 5 tackles, a tackle for loss, a sack, and a forced fumble. Boley passed for 168 yards and 2 touchdowns.
