DJ Lagway, Walter Clayton Jr. team up in Chipotle ad

DJ Lagway and Walter Clayton Jr. are the stars of Chipotle’s new advertising campaign promoting the restaurant’s partnership with the Florida quarterback.
Lagway will be heading into his first full season as the Gators’ starting quarterback, with his eyes on helping the program claim its first national championship since 2008. Clayton was a key figure on the hardwood as Florida was the last team standing after March Madness.
Lagway, on Tuesday, posted a video to his X account of Chipotle’s new ad.
“You’re next in line, bro,” Clayton’s voice can be heard saying at the beginning.

Lagway was instrumental in Florida’s late-season surge in 2024. The sophomore took the reins after Graham Mertz was injured in the Tennessee game and helped the Gators beat Kentucky in his second-ever start. After losses to Top 5 programs in Georgia and Texas, he led Florida to a 4-game winning streak.
Clayton was the Gators’ star player during their national championship run in the spring. He ultimately was named the NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and the SEC Male Athlete of the Year. He was then drafted by the Washington Wizards with the 18th overall pick before being traded to the Utah Jazz.
