Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has taken the media by storm this campaign season, and while visiting the state of Alabama Sunday for a rally in Madison, Trump tugged on the state’s heart strings by showering Alabama and Nick Saban with praise.
“I love Alabama. I do love that team. How good is that team?” said Trump in front of an estimated 10,000 attendees, according to AL.com. “I love champions.
“I don’t know your coach. I don’t know, maybe he’s endorsing somebody else, I don’t care,” Trump continued. “You got a hell of a coach. The job he’s done here right?”
Should Trump get an endorsement from Saban, that could be enough to propel him to the presidency. I’m kidding, kind of.
