Donald Trump to attend top 25 SEC clash in Week 4, per report

President Donald Trump is expected to attend Week 4’s matchup in Knoxville between the No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers and the visiting No. 1 Texas Longhorns, according to a report from Sport & State’s Clay Travis Wednesday afternoon.
Trump has attended numerous sporting events during his time in office, including a 2024 regular season contest between Alabama and Georgia. You know, the Ryan Williams game? In addition to that matchup, Trump also attended the World Cup, College Football Playoff and NBA Playoffs during the Knicks’ 2026 title run.
It’s going to be quite the afternoon in Knoxville, that’s for sure. College GameDay is set to be in town ahead of the first matchup between the Vols and Longhorns in over 60 years. GameDay’s appearance alongside more than 100,000 Vols and Longhorns fans under enhanced security will make for a crowded scene on Tennessee’s campus.
Texas enters this weekend looking to keep its momentum rolling after a wild comeback victory over Ohio State 2 weeks ago in Austin. The Longhorns have struggled against ranked competition on the road under Steve Sarkisian, losing big-time matchups at Ohio State and Georgia in 2025. The Longhorns also lost to Florida in The Swamp.
