Duce Robinson will be continuing his college career at Florida State.
The former USC receiver announced that decision on Sunday evening. He’s one of multiple high-profile players who have left the Trojans this offseason, and he’s now set to be one of the primary focal points in Florida State’s offense in 2025.
Robinson has plenty of pedigree as a prospect. He was a 5-star recruit in the class of 2023 and was regarded as the No. 1 tight end in the country for that class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
He’s also the son of former Florida State receiver Dominic Robinson, who played for the Noles under legendary coach Bobby Bowden from 2001-04. Dominic Robinson famously caught a pass on 4th and 14 late in a Florida State-Florida game, which the Noles ultimately won 38-34.
After committing to FSU on Sunday, Robinson shared this photo of him as a child:
Robinson caught 39 passes for 747 yards and 7 touchdowns across 2 seasons with the Trojans. He was a key target in USC’s offense in both campaigns, but could have an even bigger role in Tallahassee moving forward.
Robinson is the No. 5 overall player and the No. 3 receiver in the transfer portal so far this cycle, according to 247Sports. He’s also the 9th transfer to commit to Florida State so far this offseason as the Noles look to rebuild their roster for 2025 and beyond.
Robinson will have 2 seasons of eligibility remaining.
