EA Sports’ College Football 27 is set to release on July 9, and the official account for the widely popular game series just released a list of the official top 10 player ratings heading into the new season and new launch.
Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith is the only player who received a 99 overall, followed by Leonard Moore or Notre Dame and Carter Smith of Indiana at 97 overall.
There are several SEC representatives among the top 10, 5 players from 4 separate teams. Ole Miss running back Kewan Lacy takes the top spot among SEC stars with a 96, followed by Mizzou‘s Ahmad Hardy (RB) and Cayden Green (OL), also at 96. Texas defensive lineman Colin Simmons comes in at No. 9 with a 95 overall, and Georgia‘s KJ Bolden (S) rounds out the top 10 at No. 10.
Here’s a look at the full top 10.
It’s worth noting that Alabama‘s Bray Hubbard, Oklahoma‘s David Stone and Texas’ Trevor Goosby all barely missed the top 10, coming in with a 94 rating. If you’re wondering (because I was), South Carolina‘s Dylan Stewart will start the season with a 93 overall.
