LSU is starting up spring practices after a 5-5 2020 season with a self-imposed postseason ban.
Entering 2021, the Tigers have lofty expectations for a bounce-back season, and the pressure will be on for coach Ed Orgeron and his players to perform.
Coach O hears fans and media members stating their expectations for his program, and on Tuesday night, he said he embraces the pressure:

“I was born in Louisiana,” Coach O says. “I understand LSU’s expectations and I said it when I was hired. Nobody has to tell me about LSU’s expectations. I know exactly what LSU’s expectations are and I invite them. I expect that of me and my staff and we did it 2 years ago. We had the best football team in the world. But it seems like some people forgot that. But 5-5 doesn’t cut it. There’s no excuse. We’ve got to get better.”
Can LSU put together a better 2021 campaign? They have some talent returning, so we’ll see what happens this fall!
