Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin are having a huge year in the NCAA transfer portal.
The Rebels transfer class is headlined by former Southern Cal quarterback Jaxson Dart and former TCU running back Zach Evans, and they aren’t done yet.
On Wednesday, Ole Miss received the news that former Mississippi State wide receiver Malik Heath had committed to the Rebels. He shared his commitment on social media.
Thank you god for giving me another
opportunity that most people don’t get
in a life time and that is to play SEC
football again I hope people
understand my decision and why I did
it. Thank you Mississippi state fans for
supporting me throughout my time there and I love you all pic.twitter.com/TQizD2y1rr— Ugly〽️an🤦🏾♂️ (@MalikHeath2) February 2, 2022
Heath recorded 34 catches for 442 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Bulldogs last season.
The Jackson, Mississippi, native exited JUCO in the class of 2020 as 4-star prospect and the nation’s No. 2 JUCO wide receiver, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was also rated the nation’s No. 9 overall JUCO prospect.
The Rebels added another impact transfer for Kiffin’s offense.
