The No. 25-ranked Missouri Tigers are off to a blazing start to the 2025 season, and much of that success has been driven by their new star quarterback in Penn State transfer Beau Pribula.

The former Nittany Lions’ backup joined Mizzou in hopes of finally being able to show he has what it takes to start at the Power 4 level, and that’s exactly what he’s done over these first 2 weeks of the new campaign.

Pribula’s comeback heroics against the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday only served to further endear him to his new fanbase, and he’s also quickly formed a strong bond with his new head coach, Eli Drinkwitz.

This was put on full display once again on Monday morning, as Drinkwitz crashed his star quarterback’s interview on the SEC Network in hilarious fashion.

The hosts were in the middle of asking Pribula if he thought that Drinkwitz was cool, to which Pribula responded with a firm “no.”

As he was answering the question, though, Drinkwitz just so happened to be walking by and overheard the exchange, and decided to respond in his own hilarious fashion.

“Man, I’m the dorkiest guy in all of college football, and I embrace it,” Drinkwitz proudly boasted to the SEC Network hosts who were interviewing his quarterback.

Drinkwitz clearly has no issue embracing his dorky side, and he’s also got one of the top QBs in the nation, and this combination could end up being the perfect match that leads the Tigers to their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance.

Mizzou will host Louisiana in Week 3.
