Elite 5-star 2019 CB Derek Stingley Jr. narrows list to 6, including 3 SEC teams

The SEC has produced some of the best defensive backs in recent years, so it’s never a surprise to see elite defenders considering SEC schools.
That’s the case with 2019 5-star CB Derek Stingley Jr., too, as he has three SEC squads in his final six.
As you can see in Stingley’s tweet below, he’ll consider Georgia, LSU and Florida alongside Stanford, Texas and Michigan:

Stingley is a Baton Rouge native, so it’s possible the Tigers will have a hometown edge when it comes to recruiting him.
According to the 247Sports composite, Stingley is the No. 2 cornerback in the class of 2019 and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
