Eric Morris jokes about ‘retirement’ after upsetting Oregon in home debut at Oklahoma State

Eric Morris is in his first year at Oklahoma State, and things couldn’t have started much worse last week in a road loss at Tulsa. However, that has been forgotten after the Cowboys pulled off one of the most shocking upsets in recent memory with a 39-31 victory over Oregon on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.
After the win, the Cowboys’ fans stormed the field in as deserving of a field-storming as you will see this season. After the game, Morris joked about how he might have to consider retiring after the win.
“I don’t know if I can top this,” Morris said. “I’m not going to retire, but I might think about it tonight.”

As bad as the feeling was after the loss last week, this is a statement first victory for Morris. He did a fantastic job at North Texas, and has shown that he is up to the challenge of getting things changed in Stillwater. The Cowboys had lost 12 consecutive games dating back to last season.
He brought quarterback Drew Mestemaker finished the game with 426 yards of total offense and three total touchdowns. He transferred to Oklahoma State to play with his coach, and the duo has the excitement as high as it has been in Stillwater in a long time.
