ESPN analyst Jordan Reid has been watching Trinidad Chambliss during his incredible run this season. The former Division II star has taken the Ole Miss Rebels to the Final Four of the College Football Playoff as they square off against Carson Beck and the Miami Hurricanes on Thursday night.

Ahead of the Fiesta Bowl showdown, Reid weighed in on which QB has NFL teams more excited.

“I think it’s clearly Trinidad Chambliss,” Reid said. “I think the clear differentiator between the two is just the mobility difference. I thought Carson Beck did a good job of using his legs in spots last week against Ohio State. Trinidad Chambliss just takes it to another level.”

During the fourth quarter against Georgia, Chambliss made some incredible plays that had the college football world talking about it for days. He finished that game 30-46 for 362 yards and two touchdowns, while also leading a last minute drive to get in field goal range for the eventual game-winning kick.

The Miami defensive line has been as good as any in college football this year, but it hasn’t seen a quarterback who can improvise and extend plays like Chambliss either.

While he may be the higher quarterback prospect of the two, Chambliss is trying to gain another year of eligibility and return to Ole Miss next season. No college football team has had the love of college football fans all across the country quite like this Rebels squad, and Chambliss is the biggest reason for that.

Kickoff between the Hurricanes and Rebels is 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will be on ESPN.
