ESPN announces broadcast teams for 9 SEC 2023 bowl games

ESPN on Thursday announced its commentary teams for the SEC’s 9 bowl games.

Alabama, making its return to the College Football Playoff, will face Michigan in the CFP semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game in Pasadena, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. ET on Jan. 1. That one will be called by ESPN’s No. 1 team in Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, with Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge reporting.

Three SEC teams are in New Year’s 6 bowls: at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek, and Tom Luginbill will call the Cotton Bowl between Missouri and Ohio State. Joe Tessitore, Jesse Palmer, and Katie George will be on the mic for Georgia’s Orange Bowl contest at Hard Rock Stadium vs. Florida State. And, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Mark Jones, Louis Riddick, and Quint Kessenich are on the call for the Peach Bowl between Ole Miss and Penn State.

Meanwhile, on ESPN Radio, Joe Tessitore, Dusty Dvoracek, and Kessenich will call the CFP semifinal at Rose Bowl Game, while Dave Flemming, Brock Osweiler, and Kayla Burton will call the Orange Bowl. Marc Kestecher, Kelly Stouffer, and Ian Fitzsimmons will be in Atlanta for the Peach Bowl.
