With headlines surrounding coaching changes, the transfer portal and NIL creating a firestorm around the SEC, this 2026 season figures to be one of the most anticipated and dramatic in recent memory.

Players and coaches are being featured in the public sphere more than ever before, and thus the media coverage surrounding the SEC has seemingly reached new heights as well.

At the forefront of that is ESPN’s ‘SEC Nation,’ and the popular pregame show will continue to feature a beloved presence.

Former Florida quarterback Tim Tebow has been a mainstay within the SEC Nation crew, and ESPN announced Monday that the Heisman Trophy winner has been signed to a multi-year extension.

โ€œI love this game and getting to talk about it every Saturday with the crews on SEC Network and ESPN is a gift I donโ€™t take lightly,โ€ Tebow said in a press release. โ€œSEC fans bring a passion that never gets old, and Iโ€™m grateful I get to keep doing this alongside people who feel like family.โ€

Tebow first joined the company in 2014 and has been a key cog in ESPN’s expansive college football coverage each year since.

โ€œTim is one of the legendary players in the history of college football and he will continue to be a fixture in our coverage on SEC Network and across ESPN,โ€ Burke Magnus, ESPN’s President of Content, said. โ€œTimโ€™s unrivaled experience in the SEC combined with his knowledge and genuine passion for the game make him one of the sportโ€™s most credible voices, particularly among the SEC Nation fanbase.โ€
