ESPN FPI rankings after Week 11: Alabama, Georgia remains outside top 3 despite wins

The Week 11 slate was a bit pared back in the SEC, as several teams were on byes. However, there was still plenty of intrigue and there was still a lot to learn.
Texas A&M remained undefeated with a convincing win at Mizzou. The Alabama Crimson Tide won an ugly rock fight against rival LSU. The Georgia Bulldogs dominated the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Starkville.
The SEC has some elite teams that are still vying for spots in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta this year. But where do those teams stand on a national scale?
ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) was updated after all the dust had settled on Week 11. Alabama was the top SEC team in the rankings, checking in at No. 4, still sitting behind a trio of Big Ten teams at the top.
The SEC had 11 teams represented in the top 25. Check out the full FPI top 25 below:

The only SEC teams that didn’t crack the top 25 were: Florida (No. 35), Kentucky (No. 39), South Carolina (No. 40), Arkansas (No. 41) and Mississippi State (No. 44).
