ESPN names toughest remaining game on Georgia’s schedule

The Georgia Bulldogs have looked incredible this season through 3 games, blowing out every opponent they’ve faced and looking like an elite offense in the process.
No, the opponents haven’t exactly been a murderer’s row, but Georgia has more than passed every test in front of it, most recently in the form of a 45-17 blowout win at Arkansas on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are firmly in the Playoff picture yet again under coach Kirby Smart, but tougher challenges do await. In a piece projecting the 12-team Playoff field, ESPN’s Heather Dinich named Alabama as Georgia’s toughest remaining game:
Toughest remaining game: Oct. 10 at Alabama. ESPN’s FPI gives Georgia at least a 50% chance to win each of its remaining games, but this one is the closest to a coin toss at 53.6%.
Georgia has a couple more games to go before heading to Alabama, including a Week 4 home date against the Oklahoma Sooners. However, Oklahoma’s offense has looked terrible so far this year, so the Dawgs will again be heavy favorites.
Can anyone knock off Smart’s squad during the regular season? We’ll keep an eye on that Alabama game, and also on a Nov. 7 road trip to Oxford to face the red-hot Ole Miss Rebels.
