ESPN officially announces ‘Bussin’ & Pate on Campus’ for 2026-27 CFB season

College football is almost back, and that means that some of the most interesting personalities around the sport are gearing up to hit the road and see the biggest matchups the game has to offer from week to week.
ESPN already has arguably the largest on-campus pre-game broadcast with College GameDay, but the network just announced it will be adding another this fall.
The Worldwide Leader in Sports officially announced on Thursday morning via X that college football analyst Josh Pate and the “Bussin’ with the Boys” crew will be teaming up for a new on-campus program dubbed “Bussin’ & Pate on Campus.”
Per the release, the program will air on Fridays at 2 pm ET throughout the season, and the first 2 spots have already been penciled in for Baton Rouge in Week 1 for Clemson vs. LSU and Ann Arbor in Week 2 for Oklahoma vs. Michigan.
Pate, who has covered college football for the past decade and is well known for his “Josh Pate College Football Show,” officially joined the ESPN crew as a contributor last season. Likewise, the Bussin’ with the Boys crew of former NFL Pro Bowler Taylor Lewan and NFL linebacker Will Compton have also partnered with the network on multiple occasions, usually alongside Pate.
Now, the pairing has officially landed their own standalone program on ESPN, further adding to the dynamic season-long coverage of the sport the network provides.
